Funny...I thought I was the only one with that thought rattling around in my head. Many times I've found myself actually angry and saddened by that travesty. My God! How much different and, possibly, more enhanced would human civilization have been if we had had all of that lost information as a foundation?!?!

DeleteI have thought of this for a very long time. I imagine many of those texts are stored in the Vatican vault.
