And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
We don't often do fireworks, but this year we had family here. By far the most fun for me are the mortars, the package deals that come with a launch tube and an assortment of small bombs (~2") that go up about 200 ft and then detonate with effects. They have a long fuse. Drop it in, light the fuse, pop goes the weasel, with Oohs and Aahs.... Great fun.
Start up company in the UK is trying to end fireworks, they plan on using drones with lights to take their place. Me, I'd like to see both. They put up the drones, and I get to shoot big ass fireworks up there to knock them down. Won't happen I know, but a guy has to keep some dreams...
