    32X is a little high-priced...but not when you are in a Harrier in distress!

  4. The F35B will land itself, if asked nicely. Most Harrier and VTOL craft have their accidents on landing/takeoff.

  5. Check out the book about them in the Falklands war. "Harrier 809". Britain did that war on a shoestring. Two versions of that plane, RAF and RN (navy). The RAF versions had lots of Magnesium parts, and they ended up buying WD-40 by the barrel to coat that plane to keep it from corroding away in the salt air.

  6. Notice how little suspension travel that F35 has? And it used near all of it on a normal landing. I'm thinking that is not good engineering practice.
