  2. 106° in Rough and Ready, CA, at 1900' elevation.

    When it hits 100° here it's unusually hot. Thank goodness I'm only paying PG&E 32¢ per KwH instead of the 11¢ per KwH I'd be paying if I lived in Tennessee.
