It looks durable

  1. The handle would only be useful when the tank was empty. Water weighs 8.33 pounds per gallon so a full 35 gallons would weigh over 291 pounds. They tie down grooves would be a good thing.

  2. I’ve something very similar mounted on a small trailer and plumbed to a gas driven pump. There’s no well or water mains on my land so this is my “fire truck” in case the burn barrel gets squirrely.

  3. Probably handier to move around than those 'water bed' looking bladders for a truck bed.

A heavy duty refrigerator dolly could handle it with no problem, Point A - B.

  4. My Springdale sports a 60gal fresh water tank, with a 30gal gray and 35gal black.

  6. One fluid ounce of water weighs one ounce in weight. One gallon = 128 ounces = = 8.00 pounds, not 8.33 pounds.

  7. Nope. Water is 8.33 - 8.34 pounds per gallon. Don't confuse ounces of volume for ounces of weight.

  8. A pint's a pound, the world around.

  9. Ok, I learn something new every once in a while... The 8.3 value is correct. A pint is not a pound, but it's a very good approximation. For those few that care:
