And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
The bespectacled gal riding herd is probably the only honest woman shown here. Game for anything but reticent on her own, has to be led. A pleasure to be with. Fiercely loyal. Leave her alone unless you're her match and then some.
4th from the bottom. That was me prit near every time I went to ride Cesar. He was 8 yrs old, an ex-polo pony. Well trained, knew my commands before I hardly made a move. But trying to get him out of the paddock was some kind of game he enjoyed. It grew tiresome.
2nd from bottom. I reckon that is the cliffs of Moher in County Claire.
#10, the VW bus on the beach with the girl on top? I'm thinking it's European or Brazilian. It's a bay window bus with the rectangular taillights AND double doors. The bay window started here in '68 and had the side slider door, didn't get the rectangular tail lights until '72.
I know, more than anyone wanted to know... but it is a great picture!
