And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

$5,000 of gold vs $5,000 of silver in early 2020, now it's about 5800 for the gold, about 7700 for the silver (fluctuates daily).

DeleteA chisel and hammer will work, same as with the gold. Look up "pieces of eight". Two bits is a quarter of a doubloon.
DeleteHow does that compare to plywood?
ReplyDeleteDenser. More conductive. Able to melt without burning. Won't swell in water. Easier to bash someone's skull in with.
