And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Good memories of Whidbey. Was stationed there in the late 60's, got my Private License there at Oak Harbor International. Almost bought a home there until the Navy in all it's wisdom moved us to Hawaii.
From the map it looks like it's within easy Uber striking distance from ANTIFA's base at Fort Seattle. Is this the place where the Progressives head to to give their after-action reports to general Styer?
Was stationed at NAS Whidbey Island for 21 years! This picture looks like the view from the new Mukilteo ferry dock, and the South end of the island. Tree huggers from Everett and nuts Seattle down there. North end, patriots!

Interesting but riding this twice a day - and paying skyrocketing property taxes on the rock has dulled my perception of it. Just a matter of time before we escape to a free state.
Yo, next time you go up to Whidbey Island head over to Orcas Island and stay at Beach Haven, it is really private, it is off the beaten path, waterfront cabins plus they have row boats and crab pots. Great place.
