I mean really, this is embarrassing.

  1. A lifelong friend in Torrance told me nobody buys the gov't stuff cause it's too expensive, low quality, and too information intrusive. IOW, everything this rotten assed gov't touches turns to shit instantly, over and over again. But there's never any shortage of assholes anxiously waiting to get the criminal gov't involved with more and more stuff.

    1. Actually, you're lifelong friend knows not of what s/he speaks. The weed is fine and in many varieties and strengths. Packed well and sold for a reasonable price. Example: A gram of say middle shelf weed is now about 35 bucks delivered to your door. That gram -- even for an old and very habituated hippie -- is good enough to keep you happy for five nights. Try getting lit in a bar for five nights for 35. California is a large steaming plate of shit on the Andreas fault and Newsom needs to feel a flaming chainsaw as a strapon from a large woman of the ashy persuasion, but the weed along with The Dude abides.

  3. just like moonshine and taxed whiskey....there's a reason moonshine continues to exist. in most instances it is cheaper and better quality.

  4. The 100mil that they are using is the excise taxes paid by the growers and sellers. Effectively they are reducing the tax rate, and that by only maybe 50%. Trying not to kill the goose that laid the golden egg. I've always said it is very difficult to get rich selling legal weed with 40% excise tax and the federal 280E exclusion on income taxes. The guys making money would never survive a IRS tax audit since they are fudging the deductions. The black market, or free market isn't going away anytime soon.

  5. This is even better about the IRS trying to run the Mustang Ranch and driving it into bankruptcy.

And what Pat said about moonshine and taxed whiskey.
