  4. I hope it works. We lost a lot of foliage around the area in the big Texas deep freeze including an ash tree in our backyard that was already budding when the cold wave hit. So far it doesn't look like it's coming back. There are dead trees everywhere. It just got too cold too fast.

  7. Toured Napa one year (I ain't much of a oenophile..whatever) beautiful country. They had P51 Mustang engines mounted on telephone poles for freezes. When it got real cold, they would fire up those 1200HP monsters and blow air through the vineyard. Kept the frost from settlin' I'm told..
