  1. WOW. Vegas A lot different looking than when my daughter and I were there in 2010. I can't spot one young female walking around with a T-shirt that says: "Girls Direct to You in 20 Minutes" Call: (702) 869-GIRL

  4. Union Pacific mainline had a coal/water facilities there. Started Las Vegas.

  5. Actually, Las Vegas got its start because of nearby lead mines, long before the railroad came through. There were artesian wells which made the a pretty nice spot to service the mines and, later, the railroad.

  7. Does anyone know where these buildings are located or what highway is shown in this photo? Las Vegas is so huge now by comparison.
