Reinebringen, Lofoten, Norway

  1. Rain runs down the steep mountains into the lake, water runs from the lake down to the village, supplying all the inhabitants needs. It's natural!

  2. My daughter has lived there; she is based in Norway and spent much time hiking around Lofoten. Remember. it looks very beautiful but the days are VERY SHORT and the nights very long. When she was up there for Christmas past there was a 1/2 hour daily of dusk. Other than that; black.

  4. That type of lake, in a glacier scooped hollow high up a mountain, is called a tarn.
