Dedicated Meter Maid, or the act of a Bureaucratic Totalitarian Fascist?

  1. Perhaps it is a ticket for illegal parking on a snow removal day.
    That's my guess.

  2. If you're blocking the snow plows from clearing the road, you get a ticket.
The fire department will run a fire hose through your windows to get to the hydrant if you've parked next to one, so a ticket by itself isn't that bad if you're on a snow emergency route. Leave it a little longer and they will get around to towing it. I think people that aren't familiar with colder climates just don't think of this kind of thing but there should be signs posted. (They're all over the place in DC, Maryland and Virginia, but if you don't have to be in DC, you shouldn't go there in the first place - on any day.)

  3. I choose 'C.' Both. A dedicated meter maid who's a bureaucratic ahole.

  4. It's a shopping list left there by his wife, just before he left for work (and she went back to her warm bed.)
