And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Have you encountered the any razors made by Sterling Mfg Co? I've got one that is marked New York, Chicago, Philadelphia. I found a brief mention of a Sterling that was in business from ~1899 to 1904, when they changed the name. Looks very similar to yours, with some slight blade differences. Has a yellow plastic? handle, and the pins are ~4 7/8" c-c. Was told it was my grandfather's, which if the company is correct, made it about the same age as him. Blade says "extra hollow ground", and "fully warranted". Unfortunately, it has a small chip in the edge, about a 1/4" from the end. Debating whether I should try to fix it myself. The blade is paper thin halfway to the spine. 5/8" wide.
