And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Jalapeno in the breakfast hash this morning
Just the orange one. Don't want to burn out the mouth this early.
Had breakfast in a small restaurant while going thru the White Mtns. in eastern AZ. a few years back. A neat little town called Alpine. Place that was clean and smelled great. Sat down and ordered huevos rancheros. Large lady doing the cooking was prob the wife of tiny man who was the waiter. He had large cowboy hat, serious mustache, and was smoking a cigarette. The breakfast was super, but super hot! My first episode of huevos rancheros for breakfast. Memories.ge
Us Texans in the audience are suppressing laughter....
An FYI. The red/orange Jalapeno is nothing more than a ripe Jalapeno. The flavor changes a bit but not really the heat. (for what passes as 'heat' in a Jalapeno.)
I usually pick the riper ones while shopping at the grocery as I really like the flavor.
Oh, I meant that I used just the one, not all three. The orange one was just the prettiest, so it got chopped into the skillet. Looked and tasted great - what more could you ask of a Jalepeno?
Just the orange? That's okay then. 🥵

Go for it, but just for safety purposes sit on the can the rest of the morning.

DeleteI was mostly poking at the other folks and their comments about heat. Jalapenos are good anytime. Any color!
