And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. Looks to be a v-8 just counting the header pipes and I'm thinking those are 3 carbs of some kind on each side with a distributor and big ass ignition coil in the middle. Could the drivers seat have been in the very front? Just guessing here. Not related to the V2 rocket. The college I went to had a V2 engine that was donated by Von Braun himself and that ain't it.
That is a boxer type engine (porche/subaru/corvair) Given the age...I would bet Corvair flat 6 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chevrolet_Turbo-Air_6_engine.
I always wanted to build a salt flat belly tanker. Something about being on that vast expanse of white with nothing but that black line to guide you flying through the timing lights. Living on the edge.
Any idea what this is(was)?
ReplyDeleteI like the roll bar.
ReplyDeleteI like this, in a Mad Max sorta way. I'd love to scream down my local interstate, late at night, scaring the bejeebers out of other motorists.
ReplyDeleteIt says V2, Maybe made from the rocket fuselage..........?
