  3. I flew in Connies in the 50's when my dad worked for Pan Am. Sweet memories.

    I still enjoy seeing photos of McArthur's personal VC-121A Constellation named: "Bataan" .

    1. Same experience, only my dad was with Capital.

      MacArthur's "Bataan" was being refurbed in Addison, TX back during the 90's. The company let me take a squadron of Civil Air Patrol cadets through it. They basically gave us the run of the plane, including the cockpit. Good time.

  6. Aside from the B-58 Hustler, this is my favorite aircraft. Absolutely stunning. The men who designed this gorgeous creature had their roots firmly in the art deco genre of design.
