MacArthur's "Bataan" was being refurbed in Addison, TX back during the 90's. The company let me take a squadron of Civil Air Patrol cadets through it. They basically gave us the run of the plane, including the cockpit. Good time.

ReplyDeleteI flew in Connies in the 50's when my dad worked for Pan Am. Sweet memories.
ReplyDeleteI still enjoy seeing photos of McArthur's personal VC-121A Constellation named: "Bataan" .
Same experience, only my dad was with Capital.
