Dangerous

  1. Martensitic stainless steels, meaning hardenable such as 2Cr13/20Cr13, are generally not meant for prying. This one has enough Chinesium in it to succeed at all the other tasks.
I think it's a bada$$ design, either way. I may make me one today out of O1 or 5160. The descriptions are always humorous on these things...

  3. I'm surprised they are selling an edged instrument made of a 13Chrome alloy, maybe I'm missing something. I would have thought it's too soft. It's a material used in oilfield tubulars that are going to be installed in wells with brines and possible CO2 production. Under downhole conditions, it is highly corrosion resistant. But at surface conditions it rusts like crazy and requires special handling. Not to mention I wouldn't want to tie up a hand full time lugging this thing around. Scratching my head here.
