  3. The Valiant had the push button controls on the dash. They were also problematic. I had a cousin that had one and he converted it to a floor shift. He put over 200k on the slant six and parked it behind the barn for 15 years until he sold it to a high school kid who got it back on the road.

  5. '63 Dart had dash-mounted push buttons. IIRC, they were on upper left of dash.

  6. My mom's '66 Corvair Monza convertible had the auto-shift on the dash, just to the right of the gauge cluster - a sliding toggle affair.
