And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Taurus made some decent revolvers back in the day (1980's). They weren't quite as well as S&W, but worked well, shot reasonably accurate and were half the price. A lot to like there. I think of them as Latin Charter Arms and make good back-ups.
Lately, their reputation has taken some hits, but they seem to be making amends.
I'll take the coins an a SP 101 snub or 2.25, "ANY RUGER SP101" (have two). Taurus is TERRIBLE. I had one very similar to this one and had to take a file to the cylinder to get it to turn.....NEW. POS...IMO. at that time had three, SOLD EVERY ONE at a loss.
The coins are racist....
ReplyDeleteThe revolver is not.
I will stick with the Smith & Wesson J-Frame 640. Hammerless and 357.

Nice. I'd rather have the silver but only because I have a 2.25" SP101 in .357.

ReplyDeleteNot coins...silver bullion rounds.
ReplyDeleteOk, thanks!
DeleteThe wife carried one in .357 years ago and was good with it too. Now carries Ruger LCR hammer-less and good with it too.
