An enormous hunk of jadite. Should call it the Irish Stone.

  2. The mineral group pyroxine. That's a remarkable color for it though, usually it's more of a light olive color.

  4. An old friend has a 6 ton boulder of solid Jadeite in his front yard. He found it while diving salvage on a work barge which had sunk. A neighbor has enough Nephrite jade to fund his retirement and put his kid through college. Came from same place, same waters.
    Hint: it's in CA.
