And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Craftsmen, gotta love them. I have to wonder how long it took to get the wall 'just right'. Was this planned, or was it evolution? I have a pegboard wall over my workbench with my regular household tools and I find adding one to the mix typically requires a recasting of many other spots. But I just pull the hooks and stick them in another hole. I'd love to see that wall with everything off, see how many edits were made. I bet every moved peg in that wall is honored by a neatly placed plug.
I miss my black power pieces. (not a tragic boating accident, a fire)
To me shooting black powder firearms and shooting medium format roll film are much alike; the time and necessity of precision encouraged attention and thought before squeezing the trigger.
Meh, I don't see no harpoon.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, that is an outstanding tool collection. And neat and orderly, just the way it should be.
