And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Stolen from IMDB about "Christine". According to the filmmakers in the DVD documentary, 28 Plymouth "Furys" (which in reality were Belvederes or Savoys) were purchased and restored for the film. A few were "showcase" cars that were used whenever Christine is just sitting there "looking pretty" or whenever Arnie is driving her. There were "hot rod" versions with souped up engines and airplane landing lights for the headlights for Christine's rampages. And there were "junked" and "shell" cars for the versions of Christine in disrepair or for her "death" scene.
Don't drive through Minneapolis . . .
ReplyDeleteMovie clip from "Christine" I think.
ReplyDeleteYep, "Christine".
ReplyDeleteNot a Stephen King fan at all, but that is a fine little film.
The Devil is driving it, just stay clear
ReplyDelete57-58 Plymouth?
