Breakfast, anyone?

  1. A lot of "proteins" on that plate! I remember some guy in the galley/mess hall at McClellan AFB back in the 1979-1980 time period, hollering about too many "proteins" on your plate (SOS on potatoes with a couple of eggs on top of that with some bacon on the side).
I'd never heard anyone call breakfast food "proteins" before...

  2. This appears to be an English Breakfast rather than an American one. Baked Beans for breakfast, Black Pudding - not in the USA, I don't think. Milky Tea rather than Coffee and I can just see a bottle of HP Sauce at the top with the Houses of Parliament on the label.

    1. technically, I believe it's called a "Full English Breakfast". And such a treat is somewhere on my Bucket List. International aisle of some grocery stores carry English style Heinz beans. Not baked, no pork, just tomato sauce.
Peruvian style breakfast - "Desayuno" - is an occasional treat; leftover beef, beans and rice with chunks of fried pork, blood sausage, tamale and red onion-tomato salad. Ohhh gots to be!

  3. Don't overlook the FRIED BREAD under the eggs! It is truly delicious. I'll serve the full English here in Maine (no black pudding) and it gets raves.
Some delicate females get a little green after they ask for the recipe. Wonder why?

  4. Had that same breakfast at the Farmers Inn, Warminster England 2004. It was epic.
