I had two 54's, a '55 Ranch Wagon, '57 Fairlane 500, briefly a '59, '63 Fairlane, '65 Galaxie 500 390, '67 Galaxie 500 390 and somewhere in there a '64 F1 someone had put a 427 in. Torque monster. I always wanted a '50 but never had one.
Had a 49 Ford business coupe, 56 Ford 2-door custom, 62 Galaxie Sunliner 64 Mustang, 68 Ford 500 Galaxie fastback and finally a Ford 1971 Mustang Mach-1 which fell apart in 18 months. Then went foreign and never looked back.
I had a 68 XL convertible and it was a disaster by 73. Traded it in on a new Challenger and got a free Scotch Guard treatment for it. Still have the Dodge.
