    1. Shot down, Moi? Nah Bobo, women generally prefer to use biological warfare on me. But I always manage to ward off the effects by employing an effective defense, thanks to a discovery made by Alexander Fleming.

  4. Worked with the U.S. Marines at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point some time ago observing how well the Navy trains AV-8b Harrier pilots. There were some women pilots in the classes. Not. To. Be. Trifled. With. Whew!

  5. With an A7B? That bomb truck wasn't called SLUFF for nothing. All it did was haul bombs at sub sonic speeds. In the old days that was the only ride the splits could get. Fighters were 100% UA if you had an inie instead of an outie in the pre Clinton service.---Ray

  7. This was Tactical Electronic Warfare Squadron 33 (VAQ-33) "Firebirds" homeported at NAS Key West. The plane is an EA-7L, a modified TA-7C. It carried various pods that simulated missile seeker radars to train shipboard Electronic Warfare operators. It was used for simulated attacks against U.S. Navy ships as part of pre-deployment training.

I was in the West Coast counterpart, VAQ-34 "Flashbacks" homeported at NAS Point Mugu, CA from 1987-1991 as a Whale (ERA-3B) back-end crewman.

If you've ever read "Red Storm Rising" and the description of a Soviet regimental raid against a U.S. carrier battle group, then you know the scenario we played over and over.

I don't know who these lovely ladies are, but we had some of our own, including Lisa Nowak on her first tour as a JayGee.
