Prepare for BBQ Season

    It was a 12v powered pellet cooker! This was a no hook up place, most everyone had solar panels. He was watching the temps (the grill & the meat) thru his phone. It was neat!

    I'm not sure which was neater, setting the machine to 225 and having it do it's thing all day by itself (he was making pulled pork) or being able to check it without walking over & looking. :-)

  2. I have a friend in the Caribbean who has one of these whole-hog cookers. He runs a meat curing business (very good bacon, pretty good hams and cold cuts). I can attest this sucker works really well for roasting whole hogs, esp. if one uses authentic charcoal.
