Minimalist, but effective

  1. For best efficiency, take a sheet of plywood, cut 2 strips of 2'x4' and get some hinges and hinge the two shorter pieces onto the 4x4 sheet. Makes a handy-dandy windbreak. And some place to hang stuff from.

  2. We have that same model. I use primarily for canning in the summer. It keeps the house so much cooler being able to boil big pot outside.

  3. My son's scout troop uses those... much easier to clean up than a suitcase stove, built in legs, etc.

Only issue I've had is the winter campouts where it is too cold for the propane.

You may ask, why camp out when it is too cold for propane? Bragging rights, and teaching the scouts that 'yes, you can do that...'
