  3. I grew up in the Valley; on Ostronic Drive in Woodland Hills. My Dad bought our home on 3/4 acre for $21,500 back in 1958. Now that same house, on a much smaller lot since another home was built on the back portion, is going for $1.1M.

    Sadly, it's no longer an area where I'd like to raise kids, though many are doing so. Lots of Hollyweird types and drug dealers there now.
