  2. this is an unpowered glider; MC-1 from the albert criz co. of san fernando ca. first registered 7/19/1943. only one prototype built. crew of two. assalt glider prototype competing with Waco and others. probably did not win a contract because of the use of strategic materials and costs. looks very close to being a flying wing however the lack of wing sweep (al la Northrup) precluded the use of elevons and hence the tail surfaces
