  1. The E-Type was the gold standard when I was growing up...separate from Ferrari, of course, but none the less, beautiful.

    1. Better yet, in college, there was a chick who I knew who could drive her dad's E type, and she was she was a rough edged but sorta cute gal. Whenever it broke down near where I lived, she'd call for a ride. The Jag was my pal.

  2. My Aunt traded her 427 Corvette for a V12 E Type in the early 70's. Ran it in the Cannonball run. Broke the crankshaft in it somewhere out west. If I remember right, they had to ship a new crankshaft all the way from England.
