And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? Owls born outside of office window won't stop staring at workers inside
Owls are somehow unafraid of humans if they are not harassed. I've done some Spotted owl field work, and they will fly right up to you if you have a mouse in your hand.
I've walked right up to Pygmy owls in the field, and they just look back with indifference. As a kid, I shot at Blue Jays harassing a Great Horned owl, and then went close to it,and it seemed to appreciate it, as it let me approach closely. Birds are smarter than one thinks.
uber cool

Suddenly, "The wise old owl" term comes to mind. They say nothing mostly, and just look at you. Intensely!
ReplyDeleteDon't tell the office workers, but those owls are spies for the boss. They don't miss a thing!
