And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? Wow! This is good, and with Ji-ji-ji Jimmy Stewart to boot! Only Hollywood at it's apex could make something so fine.
From Wikipedia: As engine fires occurred with the B-36's radial engines, some crews humorously changed the aircraft's slogan from "six turning, four burning" into "two turning, two burning, two smoking, two choking, and two more unaccounted for
There is a photo captioned "Stewart seen later in his Air Force career, when flying B-52s." However, the plane behind him is a B-58 Hustler. Wow. What a flying career B.G. Stewart had.
Six R4360 engines.... That's 168 cylinders !!!

As my friend Tod said after visiting the Air Force Museum, "the B-36 is the only plane in the world that can DWARF a B-52...."
