Taminator013 sent this to me, and I liked it so much I'm posting it.

I didn't see Merle in Bakersfield yesterday, although them Bakersfielders gone done and named a whole street after him.

    I bought "Two Lane Highway" on an 8-track when it was released back in about 1975 because I loved the title track. Discovered the tongue in cheek tribute to Merle while playing the tape on the way home from the record store and fell in love with it, too...............
