"For All Intents And Purposes, We Are Out Of Money Now"

The State of Illinois is so broke that they can't pay lottery winners more than 600 bucks, and they are set to delay pension payments.

Can this be any more worrisome?  If I were a pensioner in that state, I'd be organizing some resistance.  Unlike in Cyprus and Greece, the people here are armed.  It is inadvisable for callow politicians to piss them off too much.

Maybe we will see someone in that state act is such a way that the fear of God ( or more properly of seeing God very soon ) into their corrupt political class.

I'd dearly love to see that.

    I live in Illinois the state workers are no longer getting thear insurance paid. The local DOT barn has no water or gas and will run out of fuel before snow plow season. But welfare is still being paid our state pays more welfare then any other state oh and the govenor's staff is getting paid.
