I hate - HATE - the chitheads that run California

The cap-and-trade for fuels is a regulation already adopted by the California Air Resources Board that will increase the cost of gasoline and diesel fuels by up to 76 a cents a gallon, according to the agency’s own analysis!

And those costs won’t stop at the pump – they’ll increase the cost of everything that uses gasoline and diesel to transport products to market, including everyday essentials like food and medicine.
By extending the multi-billion dollar cap-and-trade program to transportation fuels, CARB’s hidden gas tax will go into effect on January 1, 2015.
If there ever was a reason to hang politicians from telephone poles, this has to be it.  It isn't enough that this miserable state has the highest income tax rate, or sales tax, or property taxes limited only by Proposition 13, and high auto registration fees.  No.  They have to ping us with this crap.

I hope this has the same result for our local politicians that Obamacare had for the national party of Democrats.  I'm calling all my local representatives Monday and ripping an alternative waste evacuation choice for each and every one of them.

Oh look, here are the culprits right here.  They all look like a pack of coastal liberals, with a penchant for spending other people's money.  Now, to find out a way to make their political lives as miserable as possible for the rest of their careers, or in the alternative, as long as they continue to enforce these piratical taxes.

And here are the CARB board meeting dates.  Looks like I had better make sure my calendar is clear.

  1. One of only the 10,000 reasons I left California. Will not return, not even for a visit. Kalifornia is a lost cause.

  2. They're trying to come up with a way to get rid of Prop 13 also. And they might be able to do it, considering the Democrat constituency is quite willing to vote for higher taxes (which they did last election).
