Calexit will never happen constitutionally, but a division of the state is a far better idea.

This map accurately shows California's political division.  The green areas are where the liberals live, the white areas are more or less staunchly conservative.

Make the state of Jefferson out of the the white areas, get maybe 20 of California's electoral votes, and let green part rot in their stew of illegals, taxes, gender confusion, and self righteousness.

There's grass roots support already.

  1. I have a feeling those wanting to secede want everyone else in the state to pay for their foolishness; like their high dollar rail.

  2. I'm perfectly OK with the division that you suggest. It's fair and the Republicans get two senate seats out of it. The coastals can have their own corrupt governor and legislature and leave the other state alone.

  3. Change the census to only count legal citizens for apportionment. California drops 10 electoral votes AND ten congressmen. Instantly. No need for legislation or amendments. It's a simple administrative decree on how to conduct the census.

Have the post office do it, since they know where everyone lives anyway.

    1. Which explains perfectly the Dems' hysterical resistance to any effort to identify or remove illegals.

    2. The progs are not keen on an investigation into voter fraud now underway by the FBI. What will the Chicago machine do if the dead can't vote and receive welfare benefits?

  4. I would much rather see Jefferson become the 51st state rather than the welfare state of Puerto Rico...............

  5. actually, it's lincoln that was extra-constitutional. the states have every right not expressly given to the feds. nowhere does it prohibit a state from leaving "these united STATES". nowhere does it give the feds the right to wage war on a state wishing to leave. that said, i like the separate state idea, but then they should be asked to leave the union as well.

    1. I say, don't give them the satisfaction. Make them a rump California and slash their political influence, then let them stew in their own ideological filth for a decade or two. That will cure them of their progressivism.

In fact, if possible, call the new state "Rump California," or just "Rump." A land full of asses.

  6. The map isn't accurate. The Central Valley is becoming liberal due to the high cost of housing, plus the many illegals working on the farms and in construction. Sacramento is the state capitol and that's where all the laws are being made.

    1. Wherever you draw the line, the liberals will poison their own well and try to then move across the line. We are watching that here in Virginia. The only way to fight it would be residency requirements, but courts have already struck those down.
