  1. Look at that cockpit and fuselage shape around it then look at the SR-71.
    Me would bet a modest sum of money that this is a testbed design for certain aspects of the Blackbird airframe.
    The similarity is just too great.

    1. More like Convair trying to sell a plane (F-102) to the Navy. Turns out sucking a bunch of water into the engine isn't so great. And zero need for it with aircraft carriers.
