And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I looked at one up close 30 years ago. The leading edges were aluminum over wood. The engine was a stolen English design complete with Whitworth round edge screws.
The Russians didn't steal the British engine, the British Labour (leftie) party gave them some in the late 40's. The US found the Mig 17 a handful in Vietnam because when you were carting bombs you were operating within the Mig's flight envelope.
Looks like a MiG-17.
