This is so kooky I'm tempted to get one just to see what it does. Gets decent reviews, so....

  1. Over here we don't clean grills, the fat is seasoning and a rustproofing layer, we just burn it clean before the next use and give it a brush before slapping the meat on.

  2. Seriously, cleaning a grill is a big issue???
The wire brush I currently use is at least 8-10 years old and it takes maybe 30 seconds or so to get it done. Cost less than $10.

  4. I've cooked on state park grills with half an inch of crust on them, what don't kill you makes you stronger.

  6. Wear a bib when using that, you'll have black greasy fat slung everywhere.

And as others said, a quick hit with the soap stone and the 10 seconds with a cheap wire brush and you're good to go.

  7. Those goofy brushes would make more mess than just burning it off.
I suspect that they're made for those types that make their veggie burgers and tofu with a soy latte.
