Snowing hard at Shasta this morning. The glaciers (seven of them, supposedly) will be growing this year.

  1. Impossible due to climate change. That's why the base of the Statue of Liberty is under water for years now.

  2. I suppose there is an upside to all the rain along the coast. one is that the sidewalks in SF may have been cleaned off of all the feces left by the drug addled vagrants. another is that said drug addled vagrants may have finally gotten the shower that they desperately needed. other than drowning in the floods there, I cant think of a downside to all that moisture.

  3. We're up to 15.5" precip since Christmas here in the Northern Mother Lode, and I'm having a blast watching the reservoir levels 'necessarily skyrocket' (heh). I'm hoping New Melones can get back to completely full, tree line full, like it did a few years back. That was a beautiful sight.
