And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
When we were looking at places near the water in Florida I was judging the water access as to whether or not I could get to Hawaii from there... not that I would, just if it could be done... If I could get to Hawaii I'll bet Tahiti is within reach! :-)
From Florida, yes you can, you can run for the Cape of Good Hope, Worst is Rounding The "Horn"!! When I was younger, I traveled through a good portion of the world's ocean with the exception of the Horn! The Caribbean is beautiful, but the Pacific is truly awe inspiring!
That is a racing boat. Note the two jibs, and the extremely low boom and cabin height. There is nothing about that boat that says pleasure other than the pleasure of winning.
