The Challenger Club driving through Redding on a winter night

  1. I had a rear wheel drive rental on a business trip to Toronto one winter and the first night a blizzard came through. The next morning on the way to the work site the light turns green and I do a slow-speed power slide through the intersection. Half way through I realize there's a RCMP squad car on the other side of the street, the guy's just looking at me, didn't do a thing.

  2. I was in the San Fran. Argonaut Hotel about 6 years ago when a Challenger Club of about 15 cars blocked off the Fisherman's Wharf street and took turns doing donuts. Lots of fun but that wouldn't fly in a lot of the country.

    1. donuts in the frozen parking lot after a saturday night high school wrestling match or basketbal game were a specialty of a particular friend's father.
