Minimalist Cabin

  1. Starting to see a lot of that. Several years back the wife and I got into RV camping. We generally hit either state parks or private parks (no boondocking for us - gotta have that sweet sweet AC down here in Texas). Most of the private parks are now getting bought out by larger corporations and/or new ones are being built. They then throw up a dozen or so cabins of the above style - very minimalistic, basically a bunk house with AC - in order to bring more people to the park. I mean, once you've sunk money into a prime location (beach front, river access, etc.) then money into a world class pool, playground, bars and outdoor theaters, you wanna bring in as many people as possible to pay it off. Not a bad way to camp, all things considered.

  4. The table and chairs are just there for the pic. Nothing would stay on that table.

    1. I think maybe that's a fire pit. But the grouping being out of level is against my religion.

  5. Looks like a walk in cooler with windows according to the unit hanging on the wall.
