And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Starting to see a lot of that. Several years back the wife and I got into RV camping. We generally hit either state parks or private parks (no boondocking for us - gotta have that sweet sweet AC down here in Texas). Most of the private parks are now getting bought out by larger corporations and/or new ones are being built. They then throw up a dozen or so cabins of the above style - very minimalistic, basically a bunk house with AC - in order to bring more people to the park. I mean, once you've sunk money into a prime location (beach front, river access, etc.) then money into a world class pool, playground, bars and outdoor theaters, you wanna bring in as many people as possible to pay it off. Not a bad way to camp, all things considered.
