The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? Not a big fan of prepackaged pastries of unknown origin. Could be months old, stale. And, that $37 is way beyond exorbitant. Just go to Kroger and get some current stuff for more reasonable money. You can thank me later.
Bleah, Turkish pastries are disgustingly sweet - you'll need a ton of strong black coffee to get the cloying sensation out of your mouth. But I also must admit that even through that much sugar&honey there's also a lot of aroma in those pastries - walnuts, pistachio, rosewater...
Just ordered it as gift for mother. $43.89. I don't care how much it costs when doing gifts. Want something that she would never find at safeway where she shops.
National Baklava Day was very recent. Excellent sampling.
