How much fat can you get off a duck? Is it that much better?

  4. I have 4 ducks. Eggs are awesome. So is the meat. Reproduce and grow quickly. Docks st good mmmkay. They can attack by air, sea and land.
    Release the quacken. No other animal has that capability.

  5. Seeing all these comments about fat ducks makes me wonder what I missed in downing wild ducks? They were too lean, you had to add butter for frying. Am I uneducated?

  6. My wife likes to arrange potatoes and carrots underneath a duck when she makes one so that the oil drips down and cooks them. Vegetables in duck fat are delicious.

  7. Tip.
    Fry your french fries at a lower temp in the duck oil so that they become oil soaked and finish them off in a conventional oil.
    It gives them the duck fat taste with a crispiness you'd normally get.
