The magnificent ruins of Persepolis lie at the foot of Kuh-i-Rahmat (Mountain of Mercy), about 650 km south of the present-day capital city of Teheran.
Founded by Darius I in 518 BC, Persepolis was the capital of the Achaemenid Empire. Its name comes from the Ancient Greek: Περσέπολις, a compound of Pérsēs (Πέρσης) and pólis (πόλις), meaning “the Persian city” or “the city of the Persians,” but the Persians knew it as Parsa.

Gotta do something about the spammers, they're infesting every post now.
ReplyDeleteRegarding the post itself, I'm surprised the Muzzies haven't blown those statues up yet.
Delete them as soon as I see them. Other than that, the only option on Blogspot is to disable comments, which I won't do. Just ignore the spam. I'll catch up to them in time.
DeleteI appreciate your efforts. I just wish there was a way to keep them from showing up all the time:-(.
DeleteI just ignore the spammers... other than finding out who they are & where they live there is not much I can think of... I figure google is making money off the ads or they would find a way to stop it.
ReplyDeleteOur gov't can track down 600 "insurrectionists" at the capital on Jan 6 but can't track down the so called Russians who stole an election.
