And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Let it Ride, the greatest movie ever about thoroughbred horse race betting. Punters always get a good laugh watching this one because it is so true to life. And the bonus is watching Jennifer Tilly in her prime.
God have mercy on Robbie's soul. Let it Ride is a brilliant film, and contains one my favorite movie lines. When Teri Gar is on the phone with Dryfus and asks, "Are you gambling?". he replies, "I'm not gambling, I'm WINNING!"
