And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

When I first saw this picture I thought of a write I saw (a long time ago) on a house built of 2x4 pieces that were left over from a mill making lumber. I might have seen it in "The Mother Earth News" way back when...
Hmmm, stacking all that wood right at the house might be an invitation to unwanted little beasties from mice and 'coons to termites and carpenter ants. Might put up a woodshed and move that stuff away a bit. But sure would be a nice place to get away to.
