  3. I was a dishwasher at Rosie's Cantina while in college many years ago. It wasn't the original Rosie's but I still think of those days when I hear the song!

  7. Hundreds of years from now. This Marty Robbins song should be remembered as the best C&W song ever written and recorded. Beats "Water" by a mile.

    Now there may be some who claim that "You Broke my Heart, So I Busted Your Jaw" would be in contention but I say otherwise. ;)

  9. There is a Rosa's Cantina in El Paso Great food. Marty Robins knew nothing about the place. Didn't know it existed. From his own biography.
